Whole-Person Care.
Personalized Healing.
Lasting Wellness.
You don't have to know what's wrong. You don't have to know which treatment you need.
You just need to be ready to start the conversation.
I combine Physical Therapy, Acupuncture, and integrative therapies to create an individualized approach based on what your body needs today.
📍 Crookston & East Grand Forks, Minnesota
One Practitioner. Multiple Perspectives.
Your body doesn't always fit neatly into one treatment category.
At Renew You Holistic Health, I bring together my training as a Doctor of Physical Therapy and Master of Science in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine to look at your health from multiple perspectives.
Rather than asking you to decide whether you need Physical Therapy, acupuncture, or another treatment before you arrive, I listen, assess, and determine what approach may be most appropriate for you.
Your treatment may include one therapy—or several—based on what your body needs during that visit.
You don't have to choose the treatment. I'll help you figure that out
Why Choose Renew You?
Healing Begins With Listening.
No two people experience pain, movement limitations, stress, or health concerns in exactly the same way.
Your history, lifestyle, injuries, movement patterns, stress, and overall health can all influence how your body feels and functions.
That's why your treatment at Renew You isn't based on a predetermined protocol.
I listen.
I want to understand what you're experiencing and what matters most to you.
I assess.
I look beyond the obvious symptom to understand how your body is moving and responding.
I treat.
Your session may incorporate Physical Therapy, acupuncture, manual therapy, or other integrative approaches.
I personalize.
Your treatment is adapted to what your body needs—not simply what worked for someone else.
Whole-person care means looking at the whole picture.
Meet Megan
Doctor of Physical Therapy | Master of Science in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine
My professional education has given me two very different—but complementary—perspectives on health and healing.
My Doctorate in Physical Therapy taught me to understand movement, biomechanics, injury, rehabilitation, and the physical body.
My Master's degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine expanded that perspective to include traditional East Asian medicine and a broader understanding of the relationships within the body.
But some of my greatest lessons have come from the people I've had the privilege of working with—and from my own journey of healing.
Those experiences shaped the way I practice today.
I believe healing isn't always about finding one perfect treatment. Sometimes it begins with slowing down, listening to the body, understanding the bigger picture, and finding the approach that is right for you.
That's why I created Renew You Holistic Health.
A place where different perspectives can come together to provide individualized, whole-person care
WHAT HAPPENS DURING YOUR VISIT?
You Don't Need to Know What Treatment You Need.
You simply need to tell me what you're experiencing.
Your first visit is designed to help us understand what's happening and determine an appropriate approach.
LISTEN
We begin with a conversation about your concerns, goals, history, and what you've been experiencing.
ASSESS
I'll assess your body and look at movement, tissue, nervous system, and other relevant factors.
TREAT
Your session may incorporate Physical Therapy, acupuncture, manual therapy, or other integrative therapies.
PLAN
Before you leave, we'll discuss what I recommend moving forward—including whether additional visits may be helpful.
There is no predetermined treatment plan that you have to commit to before we understand what your body needs.
Every session is individualized. Depending on your needs, one or more of these approaches may be incorporated into your care.
YOUR TREATMENT MAY INCLUDE:
Acupuncture
Is a traditional East Asian medicine therapy that uses fine, sterile needles at specific points on the body. It may be incorporated into treatment to support pain management, relaxation, balance, and overall wellness
BodyTalk
A holistic healthcare system that addresses communication within the body to promote physical, emotional, and energetic balance.
Craniosacral Therapy
Is a light-touch therapy that supports the central nervous system, helping reduce stress, tension, headaches, and chronic pain.
Cupping Therapy
Uses gentle suction to lift and decompress the skin and underlying tissues. It may be incorporated into treatment to address areas of muscular tension, support mobility, and promote relaxation
Gua Sha / ASTYM Techniques
Is an instrument-assisted soft tissue treatment designed to improve tissue mobility, reduce restrictions, and encourage healing.
Moxibustion
Is the therapeutic application of heat using the herb mugwort to improve circulation, strengthen vitality, and support healing.
Myofascial Release
Uses gentle, sustained pressure that releases restrictions within the connective tissue to decrease pain and improve mobility.
Visceral Manipulation
Is a gentle hands-on approach that focuses on mobility and relationships among the body's internal tissues and surrounding structures as part of an individualized treatment session.
Therapeutic Exercise
Is personalized movement strategies that improve strength, flexibility, posture, and long-term function.
Education & Personalized Recommendations
Each visit includes guidance on lifestyle, movement, self-care, nutrition, or home exercises to help you continue your healing between appointments.
